Suma, Kobe Live Camera
A real-time network-camera view across Osaka Bay from Suma, Kobe, operated as a field verification platform for monitoring, video delivery and network technologies.
Current View
The live feed may be delayed by several seconds depending on network conditions.
This camera is operated for technical verification and local-condition monitoring. The stream may be interrupted or adjusted without notice.
Current Weather
Current observations from an Ambient Weather WS-4000.
Installation note: The weather station is installed on a 20th-floor apartment balcony, so wind direction and speed should be regarded as reference values.
Also streaming 24/7 on YouTube Live
The Osaka Bay live view is also streamed on YouTube with real-time temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed, gust, pressure and rainfall observations from the SUMA-Technica Weather Station overlaid on the video. The direct web live feed above remains available as before.
Live video and weather monitoring system
The camera is not exposed directly to the Internet. Its stream is converted for web delivery and served through IIS/HTTPS. In parallel, MediaMTX feeds FFmpeg for YouTube delivery, with current Weather Station observations overlaid on the video for 24/7 streaming.
